Colophon

As you may be able to guess from the footer, the site is built using WordPress. The theme is a custom build by myself, but started life as Starkers by Elliot Jay Stocks. The design itself is supposed to reflect the fact I’m a chiefly a developer as opposed to a designer, but also that I can be creative, a contradiction I realise. The background image is a combination of two photos taken by me on a Holga 120GN. The only fonts you’ll find here here are Georgia (bold and italic if you don’t mind) and Lucida Sans Unicode.

Almost every bit of content in the site is now controlled by Wordpress, including the links in the footer and sidebars, the blog posts and the portfolio items. I use a host of plugins to make things work. These include:

As you may guess the whole thing is wrapped up in lovely XHTML, and styled using some even lovelier CSS. If your using a decent browser you may even notice a couple of CSS3 bits sprinkled about the place (psst. Check the sidebar and footer).

Speaking of browsers, its deliberately not tested in IE because you should know better.
